Volunteers

If you have a strong desire to make The Khanenko Museum better and so to contribute a few hours per week, we invite you to become a part of our volunteer team. A special loyalty program is designed for our volunteers. In case of having long and successful cooperation, we provide a letter of recommendation in both Ukrainian and English.

    Current possibilities in volunteer work:

• Photo and video shooting of museum events
• Help with activities for children
• Guide of our volunteer project "Early Birds Overview Tour"

Museum volunteering is a rewarding and positive experience. I didn't think I could enjoy working with people so much. In addition to professional skills, tours help to avoid fear of public speaking and communication with strangers.

For me, a museum is a box of living treasures. This is a place where you can tell, see and hear various extremely interesting things; discover your own "America" ​​by learning what gonfalone is; to learn how to communicate with people differently, to experience what it means when a group comes through the door and you begin to quickly analyze them in order to outline a route that may be of interest to these people in particular. I like that volunteering at the museum provides both a creative freedom and a great responsibility, and a constant challenge as well. If you manage to cope with that one, it gives you a smile from ear to ear for the next few hours or days.
