The Khanenko Museum is located in two adjaicent buildings on Tereshchenkivska Street in the center of Kiev, along the Taras Shevchenko Park.
Building # 15 (the Khanenkos’ historic mansion) houses “European art of 14th -18th centuries”, “ Earliest Byzantine icons of 6th -7th centuries” and “Art of Ancient civilizations” permanent exhibitions and a temporary exhibition hall.
Building # 17 (the Sakhnovskys’ historic house) houses «Art of Hinduism and Buddhismt”, “Art of China”, “Art of Japan” and “Islamic art” permanent exhibitions and a lecture hall.
There is an inside passage between buildings on the first floor level.
In the lounges of both buildings special places for changing diapers and feeding babies coul be arranged.
Participants of Culture Decree program can leave baby carriages in the museum yard (enter via the arch between two buildings).
